2,200 feet above the fog:
Our vines sit at the peak of Howell Mountain, catching hours of extra sunlight while the valley below stays under fog.
Napa’s first mountain appellation:
Howell Mountain is the only Napa AVA defined by elevation, and it’s long been known for structured, age-worthy Cabernet.
Rare volcanic ground:
Our vineyard sits on rhyolite, a volcanic bedrock that concentrates our fruit and gives it a singular mineral signature.
A precipice over Pope Valley:
Strong winds, intense light, and warm nights shape the wild character you find in the glass.
A site with history:
Planted by the Lamborn family in the late 1960s, this is a vineyard we steward and carry forward.
